I’m currently the Head of Astronomy and Exhibits at the Cranbrook Institute of Science in bloomfield hills, michigan. At cranbrook, I oversee astronomy programming, along with both permanent and rotating exhibits. I also coordinate the Cranbrook Educational Community’s web presence, managing the sites for the Institute of Science, House & Gardens, the main community site, and the Center for Collections and Research.
Alongside my museum work, I’ve taught physics and astronomy at Lawrence Technological University, hosted a radio show, and served as Art Director for Dome3D, an award-winning creative media and technology company.
Outside of these roles, I’ve been a photographer for decades, specializing in immersive photography and video, landscapes, and panoramic work. In recent years, I’ve expanded into portrait and headshot photography, bringing that same eye for detail and atmosphere into more personal storytelling.
I hold a B.S. in Physics from the University of Wisconsin–River Falls and an M.S. in Physics from Michigan State University.
